The Wenn Evans Centre is Happisburgh’s village hall, built in 1996 to replace the old hall in Lighthouse Lane. The hall is available for hire for all types of event. The hourly charge (minimum 4 hrs) is dependent on the type of event and the hirer concerned. Residents of Happisburgh, voluntary organisations based in the village and regular (i.e. weekly) hirers are eligible for lower rates. Electricity is charged separately by metered supply (£1 coins required). The hall has a Premises Licence but is not licensed for the sale of alcohol. Hirers wishing to serve alcohol will need to apply for an occasional licence from North Norfolk District Council. The Centre comprises a large main hall, kitchen, toilets (including special facilities for the disabled and children) and storage rooms. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, kettles, crockery and cutlery. The maximum capacity of the Hall is 100 people and there is a large car park.
