Happisburgh In Bloom

Happisburgh In Bloom is a voluntary society set up by Stuart and Nicky Wyatt along with Janet Thompson.

SUMMER - WHERE HAS IT GONE??

Just a short update.  Thank you to all who again have donated towards Happisburgh in Bloom this year.  As you probably noticed all our hard work of planting daff bulbs in the hedgerows etc, came into bloom in March this year, we will again put another couple of sacks in this year.

We have also replanted the large planters at Pump Hill, so hopefully the chickweed will not appear again.  Thank you for the help in doing this from Chris and Shirley.

All the tubs have also been replanted with summer bedding, including the ones at the Lifeboat Station, Wenn Evenas and Campsite.

The roses at the front of Lighthouse Close have done us proud this year, and thank you to Janet who keeps them in check.

We did plant thousands of poppy seeds along the verges, but to date, nothing has yet appeared, we are hopeful that after disturbance etc, they may come up next year - let's hope so.

If anybody has any fresh ideas, or wishes to help in any way, we would be grateful for your suggestions.

Thank you all again for your kind words and donations

 Stuart, Janet and Nicky
