Cliff House Guest HouseBeach Road, Happisburgh, Norfolk NR12 0PP1 double, 1 twin, 1 single £22 per person per nightAll rooms have television, tea and coffee making and washing facilities, but none are en-suite. There is however a full bathroom with bath, washbasin and toilet, a room with toilet and wash basin, and a separate shower room. The guset house has been in operation for 26 years, but aggressive erosion of the cliffs in this area makes the future impossible to predict. For this reason - since total loss of the property has to be faced, with no compensation or insurance - improvement and up-dating of accommodation is not an option. However, all rooms are clean, comfortable and attractively decorated, and the owners, Diana and Jill offer a warm welcome and do their best to make sure you have a relaxing holiday. A comfortable sitting room is available for the use of guests where they may sit and relax. All guest bedrooms have wonderful sea views, and the famous red and white Happisburgh Lighthouse stands right opposite the twin room. Cliff House is renowned for excellent home-cooking and home-made bread served for breakfast. We ofer a full English breakfast, but there are plenty of other options for those with smaller appetites. There is also a good choice of cereal and fruit on the table, along with home-made marmalade. For an interesting, unusual, peaceful holiday, come and enjoy a few days here at Cliff House. We promise you won't be disappointed. e-mail -

Happisburgh is a lovely village which boasts a beautiful medieval church, steeped in history, a seventeen century pub and a village shop and post office. There are many flint and thatched cottages situated in its winding main street. This is a remote and unspoilt part of Norfolk, yet centres such as Cromer, Great Yarmouth and Norwich can be reached by car in half an hour. All of Broadland is easily accessible and the more undulating countryside of North Norfolk not far away.
We are sure that like many of our regular visitors once you have been to Happisburgh you will want to come again and again.
